Pune: Renewable energy solutions provider, Suzlon Group, announced its audited financial results for the fiscal year 2024 – 25 (FY25), marking its strongest annual performance in a decade.
The company achieved a consolidated revenue of ₹10,851 crore, reflecting a 67% year-on-year increase, while profit before tax (PBT) more than doubled to ₹1,447 crore, representing a 103% surge over FY24.
This growth was driven by record wind turbine deliveries of 1,550 MW – an impressive 118% jump compared to the previous year. EBITDA rose by 81% to ₹1,857 crore, with the EBITDA margin improving to 17.1%. Net profit for FY25 stood at ₹2,072 crore, supported by the recognition of deferred tax assets amounting to ₹638 crore.

S144 Turbine Leads Product Portfolio
The S144 – 3.X MW wind turbine, designed and manufactured in India, has emerged as Suzlon’s flagship product, contributing over 1.25 GW in deliveries in FY25 and accounting for 91% of the company’s record 5.6 GW order book. Engineered for high-performance at Indian sites and compatible with hybrid power projects, the S144 series continues to drive market demand.
Strong Financial Foundation and Operational Excellence
Suzlon’s net cash position stood at ₹1,943 crore at the end of FY25. Its Operations and Maintenance Services (OMS) arm managed 15 GW of wind energy capacity, providing annuity-based revenue stability and high customer retention.

Driving Clean Energy Leadership and ESG Impact
Suzlon continues to set benchmarks in sustainability. The S144 turbine boasts the lowest carbon footprint in its class at just 6.16 gCO₂/kWh. The company has already achieved 90% Zero Waste to Landfill (ZWTL) at Group level and is on track to achieve net-zero Scope 1 and 2 emissions ahead of its 2035 goal.
